We are very excited to announce that CACF has partnered with R.J. Waugh School for Random Act of Kindness Day on November 4th!

This note was sent home with students who attend R.J. Waugh-

"Dear Parent/Guardian:

In partnership with the Carberry and Area
Community Foundation, R.J. Waugh students will be participating in a Random Acts of Kindness Challenge on November 4th.

Acts of Kindness are the little moments that have big impacts - and stay with you.  They connect you back to your humanity, remind you how much love there is in the world, and feel so good that they inspire you to spread kindness yourself.
We need to remember to look beyond ourselves, and see the need in others as well as ourselves.  It can sometimes be hard, but it's completely worthwhile...because it only takes one kind act to powerfully affect us.  The ripple effect starts with one.  One person to hold open a door. One person to leave a note on someone's car complimenting their awesome parking skills.  One person to write a thank you letter to a teacher.  One person to be a spark of kindness when another really needs it.

Your child has brought home a leaf to write their chosen Random Act of Kindness idea. Please assist them in printing their idea and cutting out their leaf.  They cam return it to school before the 4th of November and it will be added to our Giving Tree in the front hallway.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

D. Galatiuk

Principal"
