The CACF Scholarships and Awards come from our 10th Anniversary CACF Education Assistance Fund, Edith Alice Stevens Fund, the Carnation Employees Scholarship Fund, the Carberry 4-H Beef Club Educational Assistance Fund, the T. Roy and Edith Bailey Memorial Fund, the Jack Lupton Memorial Scholarship Fund, the Don and Ruth Forbes Family Fund, the Carberry Masonic Lodge #29 Fund, and the Joyce Robinson Memorial Fund. The following funds are awarded each year from CACF:

The Governor General’s Medal in the amount of $2,500 is funded by the Carberry and Area Community Foundation Inc. and awarded to the student with the highest academic standing based on grade eleven and twelve final marks at Carberry Collegiate and is continuing in a post-secondary education program.

The CC Medal in the amount of $2,500 is funded by the Carberry and Area Community Foundation Inc. and presented to the best all round student in the Carberry Collegiate graduating class. A hard working student with a high average throughout high school, spends a lot of time with extra-curricular and school programs, gets along with all students and staff and is continuing in a post-secondary education program.

The CC Staff Award in the amount of $2,000 is funded by the Carberry and Area Community Foundation Inc. but was established by the Carberry Collegiate staff to recognize exemplary performance throughout his or her high school years both through academics and extra-curricular activities and is continuing in a post-secondary education program.

The T. Roy and Edith Bailey Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $2,000 is a memorial scholarship funded by the Carberry and Area Community Foundation Inc. and intended to encourage individuals graduating from Carberry Collegiate to enter post secondary education in the areas of theology, health care related fields, education, agriculture and/or music.

The Applied Arts, Trades and Technology Award in the amount of $2,000 awarded to a Carberry Collegiate individual who will be pursuing their education in the fields of applied arts, trades or technology at a recognized training facility other than a university.

The Carberry 4-H Beef Club Educational Assistance Award in the amount of $700 is funded by the Carberry and Area Community Foundation Inc. with donations from the Carberry 4-H Beef Club. The award is presented to a graduating Carberry 4-H Beef Club member who is pursuing their education in a registered institution which upon completion provides the student with a degree, diploma or certificate.

The Jack Lupton Memorial Scholarship Award in the amount of $600 to be awarded to a Carberry Collegiate individual who will be pursuing their education in the field of journalism and/or sports.

The Don and Ruth Forbes Scholarship Award ​in the amount of $600 is funded by the Carberry and Area Community Foundation Inc. and awarded to a Carberry Collegiate individual who is perusing their secondary education in the field of fine arts and/or business.

The Edith Alice Stevens Scholarship Award ​​in the amount of $3,000 is funded by the Carberry and Area Community Foundation Inc. and awarded to a Carberry Collegiate individual who is pursuing secondary education.  This award is typically split into two $1,500 awards.  

The Carberry Masonic Lodge #29 Award in the amount of $2,000 is funded by the Carberry and Area Community Foundation Inc. and awarded to a member of Carberry Collegiate graduating class who has shown the most improvement through their Grade 11 and 12 years in combination with service to their school and community. The worthy recipient must be continuing in a post-secondary program.

The Joyce Robinson Memorial Bursary for Medicine in the amount of $500 is funded by the Carberry and Area Community Foundation Inc. and awarded to a member of Carberry Collegiate graduating class for the purpose of assisting a student who is pursuing their secondary education in the field of health care, with preference being given to an individual who is entering the nursing field.


To date, the CACF has granted a total of $180,420 in scholarships to Carberry Collegiate students since 2003.
