The CACF Scholarships and Awards come from our 10th Anniversary CACF Education Assistance Fund  and Edith Alice Stevens Funds held within The Winnipeg Foundation, the Carnation Employees Scholarship Fund, the Carberry 4-H Beef Club Educational Assistance Fund, the Jack Lupton Memorial Scholarship Fund and the Don and Ruth Forbes Family Fund. The following funds are awarded each year from the CACF:

The Governor General’s Medal in the amount of $2,500 is funded by the Carberry and Area Community Foundation Inc. and awarded to the student with the highest academic standing based on grade eleven and twelve final marks at Carberry Collegiate and is continuing in a post-secondary education program.

The CC Medal in the amount of $1,500 is funded by the Carberry and Area Community Foundation Inc. and presented to the best all round student in the Carberry Collegiate graduating class. A hard working student with a high average throughout high school, spends a lot of time with extra-curricular and school programs, gets along with all students and staff and is continuing in a post-secondary education program.

The CC Staff Award in the amount of $750 is funded by the Carberry and Area Community Foundation Inc. but was established by the Carberry Collegiate staff to recognize exemplary performance throughout his or her high school years both through academics and extra-curricular activities and is continuing in a post-secondary education program.

The T. Roy and Edith Bailey Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $2,000 is a memorial scholarship funded by the Carberry and Area Community Foundation Inc. and intended to encourage individuals graduating from Carberry Collegiate to enter post secondary education in the areas of theology, health care related fields, education, agriculture and/or music.

The Applied Arts, Trades and Technology Award in the amount of $750 awarded to a Carberry Collegiate individual who will be pursuing their education in the fields of applied arts, trades or technology at a recognized training facility other than a university.

The Carberry 4-H Beef Club Educational Assistance Award in the amount of $500 is funded by the Carberry and Area Community Foundation Inc. with donations from the Carberry 4-H Beef Club. The award is presented to a graduating Carberry 4-H Beef Club member who is pursuing their education in a registered institution which upon completion provides the student with a degree, diploma or certificate.

The Jack Lupton Memorial Scholarship Award in the amount of $500 to be awarded to a Carberry Collegiate individual who will be pursuing their education in the field of journalism and/or sports.

The Don and Ruth Forbes Scholarship Award ​in the amount of $220 is funded by the Carberry and Area Community Foundation Inc. and awarded to a Carberry Collegiate individual who is perusing their secondary education in the field of fine arts and/or business.

The NEW Edith Alice Stevens Scholarship Award ​​in the amount of $3,000 is funded by the Carberry and Area Community Foundation Inc. and awarded to a  needy and/or disabled Carberry Collegiate individual who is pursuing secondary education.


To date, the CACF has granted a total of $92,820 in scholarships to CCI students since 2003.
